Nope. those are only for blondes to help them maintain their color..and to prevent it from becoming dull and stuff. you cant take the color outta ur hair with shampoo n stuff (which is wut u wanna do) but there are temprary color shampoos you can use..but nothing to lighten ur hair from a dark brown
