I'm looking for a Shampoo/Conditioner that is animal friendly - does not test on animals. ?

I also would love for it to be as natural as possible if not organic.

The problem? Money. Burt's Bees is $8 for 12 oz. at Target. That's a lot more than what I was paying for Garnier but found out that they are owned by Loreal who does a lot of animal testing.

Anybody got any suggestions on something or somewhere that's more in a lower price range? I did use Avalon Organics at one time and my hair didn't like it.

Thanks a lot to anyone who can help!

I have a health food store near me, a Vitamin store and the average Target/CVS, etc...I'm looking for a Shampoo/Conditioner that is animal friendly - does not test on animals. ?
Shampoo is a hair care product used for the removal of oils, dirt, skin particles, dandruff, environmental pollutants and other contaminant particles that gradually build up in hair. The goal is to remove the unwanted build-up without stripping out so much as to make hair unmanageable.

Shampoo, when lathered with water, is a surfactant, which, while cleaning the hair and scalp, can remove the natural oils (sebum) which lubricate the hair shaft.

Shampooing is frequently followed by conditioners which increase the ease of combing and styling.I'm looking for a Shampoo/Conditioner that is animal friendly - does not test on animals. ?
i use the stuff in the link below. it works well for me. they have other products, as well. all of them are labeled as

natural, pure, %26amp; organic

No Lauryl/Laureth Sulfates. No animal testing; no animal by-products. No Parabens

bottle is made from recycled plastic.

Well don't know anything about shampoo, but you can use a Parfum that friendly to the animals! Anyway what its for, for your dog!
Paul Mitchel advertises right on the bottle that no animal testing is performed with the creation of their products.
Try bath and body works, none of thier stuff is tested on animals and it all smells fantastic.
