Shampoo is meant to rinse out completely. Conditioner needs to leave something on your hair to condition it. That ';something'; is a kind of a film and therefore can't be clear.Why is shampoo clear but conditioner not?
have you ever heard of conditioner being called cream rinse? It's because it's color as well as texture is creamy to make hair smoother. shampoo is to glycerine soap as cream rinse is to body lotion.
Um...because they're two different things, and they're made of different ingredients.
