Why does shampoo come before conditioner?

Well the shampoo has to clean your hair. %26amp; in order for the conditioner to penetrate to the cuticle, all the buildup and dirt inside your hair cuticles and scalp pores must be removed (with shampoo) so that the conditioner can penetrate deep and really condition. If we used conditioner first wed barely condition and then wash out the conditioner after. Which would lead to dry over washed hair.

Thus, we use shampoo firstt :))Why does shampoo come before conditioner?
Shampoo is used to clean your scalp from oil particles, possible dandruff buildup, and just dirt it consumes throughout the day.

Conditioner is used to smooth, shine and detangle your hair.

Since shampoo is used for the more thorough cleaning it can tangle your hair and not leave it as shiny as you'd want it. So conditioning comes after to leave the final product of hair washing the way you'd want it. Conditioner would just make your hair more oily and your scalp pores more clogged than they are from already being dirty.

Conditioning is not really a necessary step in hair washing, especially for people with really oily hair. For those with dry hair should condition every time they wash. Shampoo is key in washing your hair. Why does shampoo come before conditioner?
Shampoo cleans the hair...Conditioner makes your hair softer, and helps with the knots in your hair...If you do conditioner first, and then Shampoo...There wouldn't be any point to Conditioner.
conditioner makes your hair healthy like vitamins for your hair and there is all in one or leave in conditioner to keep in your hair
because shampoo cleans your hair and the conditioner makes your hair softer and healthier.
shampoo is for cleaning your hair. conditioner is just that. it makes your hair look healthier and be healthier.
shampoo cleans your hair

and conditioner makes it not knotty

its like washing a car

youd wash it before you wax it
