Should we use the conditioner of the same company as of shampoo?

i use pantene shampoo. should i get myself a pantene conditioner or another company's, 'cause i have heard that using same company's products would damage hair.

The shampoos and conditioners of one brand are formulated to work with each other.

it doesnt matter. i have dif shampoos and conditioners all the time. right now i have dove shampoo and herbal escessences conditioner, and it seems to work better
It really doesn't matter that much. But its generally better to use the same brand, as they're made to work together, but its your own choice.
