  • Am i allowed to pack hair products (hairspray, thermal protectors, shampoo, conditioner...etc)????

I am going to Mexico, and i have become kind of paranoid becuase i heard that you cant take stuff that comes in like bottles, like hair products (apparently because you can put ,like a small knife, inside your shamppo.) so you cant pack any hair products, or even sunscreen???

Could you put the hair products in your checked luggage, that you hand in(the one that is weighed in)- not the carry-on. but if you put the bottles on the checked luggage, wont it spill??? wont it be better in the carry on??

what other things are you not allowed to pack??

*I am going to travel via American airlines....if this helps

thanks for your time and help!!!! sorry if my question was a bit confusing...Am i allowed to pack hair products (hairspray, thermal protectors, shampoo, conditioner...etc)????
Put your full size items in the luggage that you're checking in and you'll be fine. I put mine in zip lock bags.Am i allowed to pack hair products (hairspray, thermal protectors, shampoo, conditioner...etc)????
You are limited to 3 oz quantities of liquids, creams and gels in your carry-on, but you can put them in your checked luggage. Check the homeland security website for the details.
What ever you can fit in a quart size bag 3oz or less and be able to zip it up. Your shampoos, hairspray, lotions, liquids only in the zip lock bag.

    Can/Should I use John Frieda's Sheer Blonde shampoo/conditioner if I have dirty blonde hair(Jen Aniston-ish)?

My hair is light, golden blonde-ish brown with many natural blonde streaks in it, but the back is darker (not bleached from the sun). I have never dyed my hair. The color is similar to Lauren Conrad's current color, Jennifer Aniston's and Mischa Barton while she was on The OC (if you know what I'm talking about).

Here are a few similar color pictures:

The shampoo and conditioner are designed to emphasize the blonde in your hair, and I've been wanting to try a new shampoo- if you have any other reccommendations of a great shampoo/conditioner, let me know!

    Thanks!Can/Should I use John Frieda's Sheer Blonde shampoo/conditioner if I have dirty blonde hair(Jen Aniston-ish)?
I wouldn't bother. I noticed little to no improvement in brightness or lightness. I'm a guy who's always wanted lighter hair (I'm a dark dirty blonde), and when I used it (with my natural color), I couldn't even tell I had used it.

But then again, maybe it works better on different types of hair. Just don't expect drastic results, and they might even be too subtle to notice.Can/Should I use John Frieda's Sheer Blonde shampoo/conditioner if I have dirty blonde hair(Jen Aniston-ish)?
I used to have that shampoo, and not only did it not change the color of my hair at all (i have dark blond hair), but I didn't really like it in general.

In my experience, I wouldn't bother with any color-enhancing shampoos or conditioners -- i would go to a hair salon if you want to see any real difference.

Is this safe? what should I use for a moisturizing shampoo & conditioner without paying salon prices?

I want to get my hair highlighted before school starts and I found a beauty school that has an open salon where they do do highlighting. so one of my questions about this is is it safe to get permanent highlights at a beauty school where the people doing your hair are the students? and then my other question is is it safe to highlight your hair and then straighten it every other day durring the school week?

my other question is what would be a good moisturizing shampoo %26amp; conditioner to use because I know that unless I find something good my hair won't look all that pretty and then all my hard work would be wasted. but I need something that you can pick up at any store because I can't afford to pay salon prices

please and thank you :)Is this safe? what should I use for a moisturizing shampoo %26amp; conditioner without paying salon prices?
Yes, beauty schools are safe. They don't just let students loose without knowing what they are doing. Heat is really bad for your hair and should be avoided at all costs, and combining bleach and heat are not smart, but it's your head. Shampoo molecules go into the hair shaft, attach themselves to dirt and oil, and wash out. So shampoo cleans hair, that is all that it can do, so shampoo cannot moisturize. No drugstore conditioner is going to give you moisture either, sorry. Drugstore shampoos and conditioners are cheap for a reason. They are full of harsh chemicals that strip color and natural oils from your hair and cause damage. They are also full of wax the coats the outside of the hair shaft. But out of these Pantene is the absolute worst and Suave is next. If you must use a drugstore brand use Aussie. They use natural ingredients instead of all the chemicals and wax. So if you can get an Aussie shampoo and a salon quality conditioner.

I just colored my blonde hair to black & need shampoo/conditioner help?

I would like a line that has color in the shampoo - can anyone recommend a great line of products? I currently use Biolage, but I don't see a color enhancing shampoo in their line. Thanks for your wisdom!I just colored my blonde hair to black %26amp; need shampoo/conditioner help?
There are a lot of color enhancing shampoo/condidtioners in salons. Lucky for you this is the time of year when they have specials and package deals. Stop by your local mall salon and check out the products the offer. I have found that salon products always work much better.I just colored my blonde hair to black %26amp; need shampoo/conditioner help?
