I have a dull and dry hair, which shampoo and conditioner I should use. Its very rough to.?

i have been bleaching my hair for 6 years and my hairs in great condition thanks to ';lorel pearl protein shampoo and conditioner (pink container)'; it works wonders, it smooths the cuticals making it silky smooth, gives great shine, and smells gorgeous, and a excellent price.. (4pound for both the shampoo and conditioner). For extra condition... buy the tub of intensive conditioner and use once a week, or more frequent depending on the condition of your hair. Good luck, let me know how you get on.....xI have a dull and dry hair, which shampoo and conditioner I should use. Its very rough to.?
i have exactly the same problem, i blow dry and straighten my hair everyday, and it's and dry as it gets. I've tried sebastian leave in treatment, loreal, pentene, kerastese etc threw out so so much money and now i know what's the best. DOVE CONDITIONING MASK $8 in a tub is a miracle. Leave in for 5 min, so so good, leaves your hair silky, shiny and soft, i mean those guys specialise in moisture products, no wonder they're so good. oh dont forget to use they're shampoo too, the one in blue colour. Good luck

Can you recommend Hair products for thin fine color treated hair? shampoo and conditioner prefer.?

Pantene shampoo and conditioner work well and do not cost a fortune. Go easy on the conditioner however since it can weigh fine hair down. Can you recommend Hair products for thin fine color treated hair? shampoo and conditioner prefer.?
even i have same type of hair

loreal matrix shampoo n conditioner r very goodCan you recommend Hair products for thin fine color treated hair? shampoo and conditioner prefer.?
I just tried the Sunsilk Sampoo and conditioner, it is great.
I think DOVE THERAPY. I always say Dove, couse it works!
Kolestrol conditioner from Sally's
pantene for fine thin color treated hair. it also comes inclucing conditioner. i uuse it all the time. i have fine, thin color treated hair. i love pantene. good luck.
Charles Worthington BIG HAIR products are amazing for pumping a little volume. There's a shampoo that cleans grit, an *extremely* light conditioner that won't weigh your hair down, allowing it to keep more spring. Also, there's a styling spray, I've used it many times and always get a huge lift out of the hair. Try it it works!
BodyShop shampoo is kooL!

Does a conditioner remove oil from your hair? Is it ok to shampoo once a day and condition twice? Ima teenager

for hair that gets REALLY itchy sometimes after i shower and at random times.Does a conditioner remove oil from your hair? Is it ok to shampoo once a day and condition twice? Ima teenager
NO - Shampoo is actually what removes oil from your hair. Conditioner re-adds smoothness with out being as oily as what your body excretes. That's why it is very easy to brush your hair after you was it with shampoo and conditioner. If you use just shampoo it is not easy to brush your hair because there is not smoothness

It is actually not recommended, by hair stylist, to wash your hair everyday, let alone twice a day. Personally i wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner every other day, but i use shampoo every day by itself so i can remove all the hair products that i put in my hair.Does a conditioner remove oil from your hair? Is it ok to shampoo once a day and condition twice? Ima teenager
conditioners do not remove oil from your hair, shampoo does
Dont go out and buy anything expensive.

First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a ';little'; honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!

The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower

You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.

Conditioner does not remove oil from you hair. If anything it will make your hair more oily, especially if you condition every day. It is okay to shampoo and condition daily if your hair is not dry. If its dry shampoo every other day and condition daily. If your scalp is itchy, try a hot oil treatment or a scalp masque.
This is going to sound bizarre and against what most of us have heard, but trust me it works so well.

You can use conditioner only to wash your hair (yes, no shampoo). It leaves your hair soft and shiny every time. The trick is to buy a cheap conditioner (I use V05 Kiwi Lime Clarifying). These conditioners aren't as thick and rich so they work better for cleaning. Wet your hair in the shower, then slather on a lot of conditioner (I do mean a lot. About 2 or 3 palmfuls). Massage it into your scalp and length, then put on a shower cap or something while you do the rest of your business in the shower. The trick is to leave it on your head for at least a few minutes (maybe 5 or 10); conditioner works every bit as shampoo but needs much longer to clean. After a while, rinse your hair very very well.

Sounds weird I know, and I was skeptical at first. Give it a try and I doubt you'll want to go back to shampoo.

Ladies: do you know of a good shampoo or conditioner that'll give volume to fine/thin hair? thanks (=?

I have thin wavy hair....it always goes flat and frizzy. I use the herbal essences citrus lift to give it a boost and then i put a dab of shine serum in my hair to tame frizz and scrunch my hair a little and i do the same with the roots too. hope this helps. fructis is also a good line.Ladies: do you know of a good shampoo or conditioner that'll give volume to fine/thin hair? thanks (=?
i put mouse in my hair after shampooing and conditioning. then, blow dry it. it pumps up your hairLadies: do you know of a good shampoo or conditioner that'll give volume to fine/thin hair? thanks (=?
Biolage amplifiying shampoo and conditioner for fine hair, and mouse with a difuser should help.
A guy friend of mine with long blonde hair uses mane and tail.

Aveeno shampoo and Conditioner?

I accedentally bought the Nourish+Revitalize shampoo and bought the wrong conditioner: Nourish+Moisturize conditioner. Will it still work? Or do i have to buy the matching conditioner for better results??? Oh and does Aveeno even work?? :DAveeno shampoo and Conditioner?
I'm sure everything will be fine. Recently, I bought the same shampoo and conditioner (nourish + revitalize) and to tell you the truth, i didn't like it. I mean, it did make my hair so soft (and wow, it's amazing, when you walk out of the shower, you're hair is like silky soft!) i was so impressed! So the results are amazing, except the only drawback is that it left dandruff; like really bad. So I stoped using it. It stinks because it leaves hair super soft, but you get dandruff. :[

Oh well, you may like it. Hope I helped (:Aveeno shampoo and Conditioner?

I think it's fine i have dove shampoo and suave or however you spell it conditioner... and i get pretty good results. and aveeno does work... what are you worried about?
Aveeno Nourish+Moisturize works fine, i've been using it for awhile :)

Pantene shampoo and conditioner: curly hair?

someone told me it makes your hair fall out? is this true? i already bought it( it's my 1st time trying it our for curly hair), i want to know if it's true or not? i have natural curly hair...it's supposed to help/enhance curly hair, but now after someone told me this...i'm kind of concerned.Pantene shampoo and conditioner: curly hair?
I have the naturally curly hair and I used to use Pantene. Loved it, but I just recently found the best products for my natural curls. Go to mixedchicks.net and look at their product line. It is for people with naturally curly hair and it will keep it from frizzing up. I have been using it for 2 weeks and my curls are fabulous and frizz free!Pantene shampoo and conditioner: curly hair?
No, this line of products never makes your hair fall out. It doesn't have harsh chemicals... that person's hair already had problems, clearly. Here are some more tips though... and yes i wrote all of it...

First of all- In the show use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Something like Garnier Fructis, Dove, Biolage, Pantene, Carol's Daughter, or Organix would be fine.

Next- When you get out of the shower wrap a towel around your hair for about 2 min.-3 min. or less... it is not a crutial thing.

Now...- I start out with a leave-in conditioner. My two favorites are the ';Noodle Head'; leave-in conditioner by Beyond the Zone and/or the Aveda ';be curly'; leave-in conditioner. i prefer noodle head but use both. This leave-in conditioner adds moisture, shine, and hold that is not stiff at all. Next, apply a styling moose specifically for curly hair like the one by Pantene that you can buy @ walmart. this will really set your style in place and add some body and shape to your natural curl patterns. Once the leave-in conditioner and moose are in place, brush your hair with a wide-tooth comb and then scrunch the product in by taking your hand and pushing upward on your hair and squeezing. After this is done, you should use a de-frizz serum like one by John Freida, or a simple Pantene one which is what I use. Concentrate on your most frizzy part, not coating or wasting any product on areas that don't have any problems. There are two more things! This is because curly hair tends to have frizz. Lastly, apply a shine serum. I use the ';Kenra shine serum weightless polish';. This just give you an added shine that is really pretty! This will also protect againts any heat damage
the conditioner does actually make your hair fall out a bit, rather than another brand. I found that pantene didn't really help my hair, because its pretty curly to. The shampoo is like any other shampoo, like it won't make your hair look bad , but it won't make it look as best as it can. I suggest to use sunsilk or herbal essences. They work well and they have really specific ones for types of hair.

but everyones hair reacts differently to things , so pantene may work for you.

hope this helps

srry for rambling
I have curly hair. I used Pantene and I've never seen so much of my hair come out after a shower or brushing and I have really long thick hair. As soon as I stopped using it and switched shampoos my hair stopped falling out. My boyfriend had the same problem and it stopped after I told him to throw out the Pantene shampoos and conditioners.

If you do a search for some Pantene product reviews there are hundreds of people who had problems with it making their hair fall out. I was considering trying it again but changed my mind after reading them.
I haven't tried the shampoo and conditioner for curly hair, I have a friend who tried the Pantene for curls and her hair looks wonderful. I, personally, have tried the Moisture Renewal and found that one to be good for hydrating my hair, since my hair is curly and frizzy. Hope this helps.
Pantene is REALLY bad for your hair, it strips the natural oils(more than most shampoos) and leaves it very unhealthy. I suggest using herbal essences for curly hair or aussie, if you have no budget get bed head products.

  • HAIR HELP! IS THIS SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER GOOD?

Ok well, i have a blend of curly, straight and wavy hair.

Starting from the top it is thick yet straight, then leading down it is wavy then finally very curly. However, my hair lacks moisture...At times it tends to get very frizzy. (My hair passes my shoulders.)

Today, i bought a Shampoo and Conditioner from the salon. It is called Goldwell...Curly Twist.

So do you think this shampoo and conditioner will help me?HAIR HELP! IS THIS SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER GOOD?
I'm not familiar with it but if your stylist recommended it for your hair type it should work.HAIR HELP! IS THIS SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER GOOD?

Check the back for the description. Make sure it is for dry hair all types. If it is, and you purchased it from a salon, it is most likely going to help.

I reccomend sunsilk. They have special shampoos and conditionser sfor all of your hair needs. for example, my shampoo is hydration and split ends and my conditioner is thermasilk, it makes my hair shiny when i straighten it.
goldwell is top of the line...

What shampoo and conditioner do you use?

my wifesWhat shampoo and conditioner do you use?
i usually use suave, both there shampoo and conditioner. its cheap and smells good but they also have a tendency to strip the moisture from your hair/scalp so i always keep pantene pro in the shower and use that 2-3/s a week to add some moisture back to my hair. What shampoo and conditioner do you use?
I always switch brands every time I run out. I'm experimenting.

But currently, I'm using Garnier Fructis.
    Sun Silk both
Creme of Nature shampoo and conditioner

    Dove shampoo and conditioner

    Pantene Relaxed and Natural Shampoo

I like to switch it up alot. It's hard to find something that works for my hair.
the best is seek look by matrex!

I currently use Toni%26amp;guy daliy style However, I was wondering what is an even better shampoo and conditioner?

I do not suffer from dandruff soo whats the best shampoo and conditioner to use?

What else can I do to improve the condition of my hair?

I wash my hair everyday.Whats the best shampoo and conditioner?
I use Bed Head: frizz control shampoo and conditioner. Anyway u shouldn't wash ur hair every day cuz its bad cuz it makes ur scalp dry and u will get dandruffWhats the best shampoo and conditioner?
Herbal essence i like to find a nice waterfall in the forest and just work up a lather
i don't know what the best one is, but i use organix vanilla silk shampoo and conditioner. and it works well, it smells delicious, and makes your hair soft. i dont have dandruff either, and it seems to work for normal hair. i haven't tried the other types organix has, but they have different ones for different hair types. the vanilla silk seemed like the one for most normal hair types that i saw in the store.

here's their website if you want to check them out. you can find their products at almost any drugstore, and i think u can buy them online as well. http://www.organixhair.com/

Which shampoo and conditioner works best on you? why do you love it so much???

L'loreal, the shine it gives my hair, the softness, the scent, mmmmWhich shampoo and conditioner works best on you? why do you love it so much???
treseme. it makes my hair all soft. and repairs any damage.Which shampoo and conditioner works best on you? why do you love it so much???
Herbal Essences White Nectorine and coral flower!(Its in this orange bottle with a green lid that you just flip up!(Same for shampoo %26amp; conditioner)It is not two-in-one shampoo, but theyre seprate and the same!I like it because it smells great, and the smell lastes like all day!and because it makes your hair really silky and easy to brush. Not very expensive!but great!
John Frieda brilliant Brunette. The smell is just so nice, my hair is left soft and silky, and I just love the way it leaves my hair feeling clean but not squeaky, like the oils have been stripped.

It's a little pricey at 5 dollars for each Shampoo and conditioner, but the John Frieda line is sooo worth it!

I've never used the other lines ( for obvious reasons ) but that man is a GENIUS with hair care, since he started the hair styling accessory lines of the creams, and gels and whatnot. Therefore put your Faith in him. Good Luck =)
I've recently fallen in love with Pantene's Restorative line. They put out separate shampoo/conditioner combinations for different problems:

';Time Renewal'; which can help undo a lot of the damage we've done to our poor hair.

';Breakage Defense'; which helps maintain strong hair and stop breakage

and ';Frizz Control'; which...obviously, controls frizz!

I would seriously check our their Restoratives line. I've been doing all sorts of damage on my hair for the past few years, and after using this line for like...a month and a half, my hair's great.

    Take care!!
I love Garnier Fruitis because it makes my hair shiny silky and smooth and smells great!
i use herbal essences- none of your frizzness.......because my hair is really really frizzy and this calms it down alot!!

it gives me a nice shiny glossy finish.. and it has a fusion of mandarin balm %26amp; pearls so my hair isnt fuzzy and it smells soooo good it comes in a bottle that is red with a green top...it isnt expensive at all and it works sooo good
My favorite is Infusium 23. It keeps my hair looking really healthy.
I use Dove Cool Moisture. I have REALLY thick hair, and it prevents my hair from tangling. It also helps restore moisture that I've lost.
    i like pantene.

its so smoothing! and gives u shine !
    Organix.

It smells the best and works incredible!
The absolute best is the new brand called Organix. It has organic active ingredients and is sulfate free so it wont dry out your hair, plus...it smells awesome! Organix has different collections for different hair types which are all amazing! You can get Organix at Target, Albertsons, Kroger, Duane Reade, Bed Bath %26amp; Beyond, Safeway, etc. Its the best! You'll love it!!!

    Check it out!

    .
redken because it's soooooooooo good for your healthy hair!!
My favorite shampoo and conditioner is by Mizani. I like the way they put moisture back into my hair and how manageable my hair becomes after I use it.
I use Garnier Fruitis for Colored Hair (shampoo and conditioner). It smells amazing and also makes my hair shiny and it stays clean for a while. I have really thin hair so it gets greasy quickly, so this stuff works wonders.
i use herbal essences breaks over. it works good on dry hair. it is purple and kind of pretty lol it also smells really good.
    only GARNIER UTRA DOUX.

    it makes my hair softer.

    Which shampoo and conditioner

i'm 15 and I have long, wavy, blonde hair and right now i'm using Herbal Essence Long Term Relationship, but should i switch to Totally Twisted shampoo and conditioner because my hair is wavy, but it's long, so would it work well on me?? If u can, can u give me the pros and cons of Totally Twisted

    thank uWhich shampoo and conditioner
Although I don't know about either of these shampoo types, I would recommend using Totally Twisted.

It seems as if it specializes in your type of hair, and that's always the best type of shampoo to use.

Hope that helps. Which shampoo and conditioner
all cheaper shampoo really works the same for me want to see amazing results spend a few dollar more on john frita, nextus biolage and see a great diffrence my hair is 3 1/2 feet long so i have to use good stuff truste me it works
i don't use herbal essence anymore but what i do use is tresame moisture shampoo and matching conditioner

it works on me and my hairs pretty long

    =]

well i would say herbal essences because it always leaves my hair smelling awesome and soft,

and then maybe sun silk cause that makes your hair super soft and easy to comb anyway.
Totally Twisted is for totally twisted hair. Yours is just wavy.
    keep long hair

If you rinse shampoo with warm water and rinse conditioner with cold water, what does that do?

The warm water will make the shampoo better able to wash all of the dirt off of your hair, the cold water and conditioner will close your hair shaft making your hair appear shiner and smoother. If you rinse shampoo with warm water and rinse conditioner with cold water, what does that do?
it makes your hair shinier. If you rinse shampoo with warm water and rinse conditioner with cold water, what does that do?
cold water rinse also helps retain more moisture in the hair cuticle.
It makes your hair straight, and if you do the opposite, it makes it wave
it get's it cleaner and get's tangles out easier!
  • anti wrinkle cream
  • What shampoo and conditioner do you use???

can anyone recommend any good shampoo's or conditioners as my head is starting to get a sore and itchy after using herbal essences, i have used the s factor shampoo by tigi it smells gorgeous though is quite pricey!!What shampoo and conditioner do you use???
i agree, herbal essences isn't that great.

i've used so many different shampoos.

and i've found that my favourites are Aussie and Aveda.

Aussie is found at drugstores and such.

but Aveda is a bit to pricey. What shampoo and conditioner do you use???
I hate all shampoos and conditioners from department stores. They're made with the cheapest ingredients and are mostly water. You will get your moneys worth if you splurge on salon products. But as you said they are quite pricey so if you must purchase dept store products buy the ones by names who also make salon products. L'Oreal is one that comes to mind. You can also try Paul Mitchell, they're not as pricey.
I wash my hair with hot water, and only hot water. It has never looked or felt so good. I had some dandruff problems before; that has completely gone. There aren't any problems when you get water in your eyes. I have that much more money to put towards my increasing bills. I will never use shampoo or conditioner again, and I now believe that anybody who does has been lied to. It's how you use your hands when washing your hair that determines how clean it gets, not what shampoo you use.
i use paul mitchell colour protect but john freida weather works is really good as well and slightly cheaper. i have used herbal essences and it smells really nice :) but i don't find it makes my head itchy.
I agree with the herbal essences its rubbish! I can sometimes have a dry itchy scalp so use head and shoulders shampoo (which is very cheap) and GHD Repair hair conditioner which is roughly 拢11-拢12 but well worth it!
The Faith in Nature range of shampoos and conditioners are all good, definitely no itchiness. Sold in health food shops, and it's not even expensive.
I had the same problem after using herbal essenes. Nasty stuff. I use sunsilk fresh and flowing. Its quite nice and its cheap always an added bonus.
herbel essence has ingredients that will strip your hair color too so stop using that. Try L'Oreal its really good and comes in so many different formulas your bound to find that perfect one for your hair type.
bedhead by TIGI is really nice aswell but yeaa i agree its quite pricy :| i suggest Loreal elvive itss gawjuss when you use it makes your hair really silky and glossy (: x x x x
Aussie shampoo and conditioner i have really long hair and it is amazing stuff!
My mum uses herbal essences shampoo and Vo5 conditioner.
i use loreal elvive pearl protein and citrus and it is amazing trust me my hair has never felt so soft and it isnt at all expensive!
    Dove Theropy
I use TreSemme colour thrive, brunette. They are 拢3 each ;] Herbal Essences test on animals by the way. ;]
shlovair only available in Berma. good luck with that
    alberto balsam - it's minty
Why don't you try pantene pro v.

My hair is really badly heat damaged. I like to use a penetrating conditioner called Henna wax. We use it in the salon and it works great. You can buy it from Salon services and it is not too expensive.

If you really want help and want to spent a bit more then I would use a Lanza shampoo/conditioner. I like to use the remedy shampoo or the hair repair. Take a look at the lanza website. http://www.lanza.com/products/display_pr鈥?/a>
    um.

    Friendly Shampoo and a Conditioner?

I am looking for a conditioner and shampoo for severely damaged hair. I want something that is NOT tested on animals. It also has to be something that would not be hair to purchase everything. Something like at a drug store of common beauty supply store.Friendly Shampoo and a Conditioner?
I would say go with Dove Shampoo and Conditioner the Intense Therapy one.

My girlfriend said that people at the salon say that if you can't get a hold of the professional stuff, just use Dove.

    Friendly Shampoo and a Conditioner?
Either Paul Michaels or Generic brand Tea tree oil shampoo This is NOT tested on animals because, well, Tea tree oil is a poison to most animals but it's very good for hair, and smells great! Works for dry, damaged and dandruffy hair!

I generally buy mine at Sally's Beauty supply, but I know the hair places in Walmarts also carry a tea tree shampoo.
Mane n' Tail shampoo %26amp; conditioner.

Makes your hair feeling silky soft and smells great. Im sure you can find it anywhere...
try clairol's herbal essences, that's what I'm using
i seriously reccomend pantene it works great or herbal essence hell yeah

What kind of shampoo and conditioner??

Out of these following products, which one is the best in your opinion?

Also, tell me if there's one that's really bad out of these! I want straighter hair so these are what i've narrowed my shampoo choices down to!

    Sunsilk Straighten Up

    Garnier Fructus Sleek n' Shine

John Frieda sham. and cond. w/ Runaway Straight

    Suave Sleek

    Matrix smoothing

    Tressme smooth and silky

Which is the best out of these only! What kind of shampoo and conditioner??
I love Garnier FructusWhat kind of shampoo and conditioner??
Matrix smoothing has the best smoothing system out of all those you entered that I feel are the best quality and the most professional. Many of my clients use this even though I don't carry it in my salon. Stay away from the Garnier and the Sunsilk since these will offer temporary results as they contain carnuba wax and after awhile the build up will make for dull hair even though initially it will work great.
    Matrix
    John Frieda great shampoo
matrix is awesome-marry it with biolage smoothing milk and your golden.
The absolute best is the new brand called Organix. It has organic active ingredients and is sulfate free so it wont dry out your hair, plus...it smells awesome! They have different collections for different hair types which are all amazing! You can get Organix at Target, albertsons, Kroger, Duane Reade, Safeway, etc. You'll love it!

    http://organixhair.com/
I keep away from shampoos and conditioners.I wash my hair with baby soap and use medical treatment. There is nothing wrong with my hair .I have long bushy silky healthy hair.Just my habit.
    I love Sunsilk!!
Bed Head %26amp; Catwalk beat all!

Whats the best shampoo and conditioner?

everyone i use makess my hair flat and frizzy as hell

what is best thats not alot of money

but works amazing and smells goodWhats the best shampoo and conditioner?
I use Aveda and it's the best ever. They obviously have different kinds for different types of hair and they all smell fantastic. They sell this huge bottle for about 拢20, I think is 1000ml or probably more and it just lasts forever (seriously, I wash my hair very often and I have been using the same one for at least 7 months now and still not finished).

You can find some deals on www.lookfantastic.com (on other brands as well). Try it, you won't be disappointed.Whats the best shampoo and conditioner?
    If only I knew. =]
I dont know by best because different hair products work better on different people for example my gf uses tresseme and works fine on her but for me it makes my hair go sticky and horid.

I use head and shoulders and it works with my hair but you really should use a product that is a shampoo not a two in one.
I use Rusk. It's a salon brand so it can be a little pricey sometimes, Bed Head is also really good. They often go on sale so I suggest looking around for either one.

    If you have any questions on this or anything, contact me at;

    curleynicole@ymail.com

    Much love.
there are alot of different brands but some i have had luck with is herbal essences, biolage and mane and tail.
I have the same problem. Top 3: Pantene ProV, Herbal Essenses, and Garnier. Honestly, the shampoo and conditioner may NOT be the problem. I have tried over 12 in the past year, and I have found that what I do AFTER shampooing and conditioning is what affects the outcome of my hair the most. Make sure you follow these steps for ultimate body and smooth hair: 1. Shampoo / Condition 2. Blot hair with towel 3. Apply mousse 4. Blow dry. *When hair is almost dry, put in a small dab of moisturizer of your choice 5. Continue to blow dry

I also use a little oil sheen to finish style after flat-ironing...to make sure my style lasts all day, I wrap it until I leave the house.

    Good luck!!!
I use TRESemme and it works just fine...but occasionally I use more ethnic shampoos..I'm Dominican so I sometimes go to a Dominican store or supermarket and buy a treatment or shampoo...
I LOVE Bumble%26amp;Bumble hair products. They are amazing. One of their shampoo and conditioner sets contains seaweed, and it leaves your hair frizz-free. It has a great smell too!

    bumbleandbumble.com
herbal essences - smells so good =P pretty reasonable price, leaves hair smooth and shiny

garnier fructis - smells awesome =D, good price, gives you strong, sleek hair

head and shoulders - nice scents available, nice price, helps scalp and can help with frizzes

pantene pro-v - ROCKS MY SOCKS! lol it smells great and is pretty reasonably priced . it also strenghthens your hair and can keep it shiny, smooth and healthy with vitamins in it

overall i would recommend pantene pro-v products

Help!I cant decide on which shampoo or conditioner to buy!?

I was looking at Head And Shoulders, just cause it will give a scalp a break.

But ALL of the shampoo and conditioners look good!

What one will give me softness,no frizz, and volume?

Why cant they just make a shampoo and conditioner that treats everything???!!!Help!I cant decide on which shampoo or conditioner to buy!?
    for head and shoulders

you should get the sleek and shine one it gives softness and no frizz and you should get the volume one.

but for volume you should get it for the shampoo and the sleek and shine for the conditioner! :)Help!I cant decide on which shampoo or conditioner to buy!?
You shudn't use drugstore brand shampoos/conditioners. They suck. Try BioSilk. I think that will gve u wut ur looking for... but for softness, shine, and xtra-silkiness, use Citre Shine hair serum. You can buy that at drugstores (walmart, target, etc.) and it's amaaaazing. And it smells deliciously fresh. I can't live w/o it. :)
well in my opinion if you want no frizz, softness, and volume

you should totally get fructis garnier it helps sooooo much!

its conditioner makes your hair absolutely lucious and beautiful.

and as for the no frizz and volume thing it works alot.

    This stuff works well!
all of the tresemme shampoos and conditioners work. they may seem a little pricey, but they have HUGE bottles of it. plus it works really well. good luck! btw....my favorite is the moisture one.
Suave naturals or pantene is good. ur hair could b frizzy if ur drying with a towel or blow dryer, try using a microfiber towel or T-shirt

i also use Suave proffesionals to rid of frizz
They do try the tropical fruity ones
Aussie, the purple kanagroo one it works the best

  • Does Garnier Fructis Long and Strong Shampoo and Conditioner makes thin Hair thick? Why? Why Not?

it helped me.....i been using it now for 5 months and my hair feels thicker and the bigger plus i dont lose hair as much as i use to...Does Garnier Fructis Long and Strong Shampoo and Conditioner makes thin Hair thick? Why? Why Not?
Well for my family and I Garnier Fructis makes you lose hair and dries our hair out. But I dont know why????Does Garnier Fructis Long and Strong Shampoo and Conditioner makes thin Hair thick? Why? Why Not?
no-because it has bitanicles in it that make your hair normal..%26amp; light not heavy...also,you can buy that brand in thickning shampoo...so it doesnt matter
no, and it's not intended to. it is to make your hair strong so that it doesn't get damaged and break as easily.

    hope this helps :]

My hair is very wavy. I want it to be straight and feathered. Is there a conditioner or shampoo for this?

I have the same type of hair, have never had success with straightening products. The best you can do is blowdry it the way you want or use a straightening iron.My hair is very wavy. I want it to be straight and feathered. Is there a conditioner or shampoo for this?
Possibly shampoos/conditioners for straight hair might help. But I'd say get a smoothing cream to use on dry hair and use a little of that and a straightening iron (good ceramic one). As for feathered...I think you'd have to get it cut to look like that. Not too sure thoughMy hair is very wavy. I want it to be straight and feathered. Is there a conditioner or shampoo for this?
I have tried all kinds and most dont work. I would find a good ceramic straightner, like a Chi. You will have better results that way and your iron will last much longer than shampoo.
i wanted to know the same thing because i want my hair straight by itself and she said there are some that say they can help make hair straighter but they really cant..so no.
    nope but there are Straighteners
    it's called a flat iron :)

    Dear Haley,

    Herbal Essences!

    It says

Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Moisturizing Shampoo [or] Conditioner.

It smells soooo good, and leaves your hair smooth, soft, and usually I can't run my fingers through my hair, but now, I've been using this shampoo and after a long day it still stays soft! I hope this helps you, because this shampoo certainly helped me!

    Hope I helped!

    -Woahhh I'm Awesome
Either Suave(warm toasted vanilla) or VO5 strawberry champagne. They both leave your hair silky smooth and make your hair smell good
    BIOLAGE.

I sware by that stuff. It's amazing and is THE BEST smelling shampoo/conditioner pretty much ever. It's kinda pricey, though.
i love the new herbal essence shampoos. they all smell amazing and there are different types for different issues and hair types you might be dealing with. but Dove also smells great too and it makes my hair very soft and smooth. Dove shampoos make my hair smell great for days!

This one is for the ladies... Shampoo and Conditioner!!?

Have any of you tried any of those shampoos that are specifically for brunettes, blondes, or redheads..???Do they really liven up the color in your hair, or would you say they are a waste of money! This one is for the ladies... Shampoo and Conditioner!!?
I've tried the brunette shampoo and it really does make my hair shinier and softer. I love it, though I don't use it all the time, it's great for a hair pick-me-up.This one is for the ladies... Shampoo and Conditioner!!?
i have...u can notice it after a while, but i guess it depends on your shade of color, but if i were u i would just buy one of the shampoos...b4 u go all out.
i have and its waste of money it works like any other shampoo
I tried the blond ones it did't`t really liven up my color of the hair but, it makes the hair color more noticeable
I love the brunette shampoo %26amp; conditioner! It smells great and my hair feels good. I'm not too sure if it actually keeps my hair dark though. I still have to color my hair every 2 months.

I bought the blonde shampoo for my daughter because she has naturally blonde hair. I really think it has lightened it up a bit!
They dry your hair out and make it break ( the one for blondes)

    Total wast of money
I think it helps keep the hair color and shine.
ive used them. I think they do add a little more sing to your natural color, but they take away from the health of my hair. Theyre not as helpful for dry damaged hair.
pl visit http://www.amway.com %26amp; click product then look satinique %26amp; learn from what you want.

i think this is the best product for you
I love them. I think it makes my hair shiner and brighter. I do not think its a waste of money.
    they're a waste of money.
Yes, I have tried them. They seem to make it shinier.
I think that is not a waste of money. It is dedicated specially for the color of hair you have I think you should buy the shampoo that you think will make your hair look the best.
I think they are a waste of money. They left a build-up on my hair that made it look like it was oily (and yes, I rinsed well). Plus, I had a lot of tangles when I got out of the shower after using it, and usually I can run a brush right through, regardless of what kind of shampoo and conditioner I use. I strongly would not recommend using these. Try Thermasilk Color Revitalizing shampoo and conditioner. They work great with no buildup and plenty of healthy shine!
    They did not work
honestly i dont see a difference and i used the whole container i actually love the new suave shicke or whatever in orange bottle it works really good just like matrix salon brand that i love only 1.50
I found them to be a waste of $$.
I have used panteen pro-v for brunettes and I really liked it. I don't know how much of a difference it made with the color, but it was vary soft and shinny. Now I use Bedhead for dumb blonds. I just have high lights, but it has helped a lot to keep the color in my hair and not fade.
Waste of money, as far as advertising goes a blonde and a brunette could both use one of the same blonde shampoos and get the same results, they are for the most part good shampoos and conditioners so although it doesnt mater what color you have chances are it will still make your hair shiny and soft.
They are good to use between hair coloring. When it gets a little dull from the sun and hairdryer. Don't use it all the time, it builds up on your hair... And I use shades for blonde..
Yes I've tried them. They seem to work but only in the short-term. Your dye will fade eventually no matter what shampoo you use, the only thing to do is get a top-up
The Brilliant Brunette shampoo is great it makes my hair shinier (but not oily ) Its a great product!!!
    yes they do work!
it was a waste of my money
i tried the blonde one it's the only type i use now it works

I am using Mane 'n Tail shampoo and conditioner!?

Have you tried it before? do you like this product! Did it grow your hair faster? let me know your experience!

If i finish the whole bottle do i see the result?

I am trying to make my hair stronger and grow it faster as i can!I am using Mane 'n Tail shampoo and conditioner!?
Hey I just started using the conditioner yesterday. My strength improved after just using it once. I co-wash with it and that's what I plan to do. (co-wash - washing with conditioner). I suggest that but no more than 3 times a week because you don't want protein overload =)

But I'm trying to see what results I can get from it because I heard that it grows and thickens hair and thats what I want to do. I have heard many success stories where girls grow up to an inch or more a month! But every person is different. You will just have to try and see what it does for you. You are not alone lol =) And remember not to get discouraged if results don't appear as fast as you may think. I suggest trying it for 3 months at least to see what it can do for you. Good luck!I am using Mane 'n Tail shampoo and conditioner!?
believe it or not garnier fructis works wonders. i used mane and tail...it worked really good, but garnier fructis has a guarentee, it even holds hair strength and shape in 97% humidity! Report Abuse

It made my hair grow faster and shinier, but I only used the shampoo. You will see results about it being stronger pretty much immediately. I noticed about a month into using it that my hair had grown much more than I expected it to grow in 1 month

Dove is by far the best shampoo/conditioner I have used. They have a special line of products for frizz control. They make your hair sleek and shiny and healthy looking. I would definitely give it a try.

Try Pantene Ice Shine. It makes your hair very healthy and shiny but it helps alot with the frizz too. They also have the Ice Shine mousse and hair spray.

There are many shampoos and conditioners for girls with curly hair. But do they make straight hair curly? Or does it just help curly hair stay curly, with less flyaways and frizz? Try an expensive brand shampoo/conditioner. They work really well and leave your hair silky and soft opposed to a bottle of shampoo/conditioner from a discount shop that only washes the dirt out of your hair but doesn't clean and repair. TRESEMME THERMAL RECOVERY SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER? [10 points]?

did you like it? why or why not?TRESEMME THERMAL RECOVERY SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER? [10 points]?
I suggest you use aussie shampoo and conditioner, it makes your hair really smooth.

Best chemical free shampoo and conditioner.......(10 points)?

i just bought aussie and found out there are so many bad ingrediants in it so what is a good shampoo that will make my hair soft and shiny. and i don't mean pantene or herbal essences or dove.Best chemical free shampoo and conditioner.......(10 points)?
If you are looking for a vegan shampoo (meaning chemical free / natural) you can try professional salon products. You will be paying more but you will be getting better results while also protecting color treated hair. Some ones to try are Shampoos and conditioners from Purology and a new company called Diva . Diva is sulfate free so it doesn't lather but it works really well.Best chemical free shampoo and conditioner.......(10 points)?
Organic product lines usually don't contain a lot of the bad ingredients for the hair. You can find them health foods stores. I don't use organic shampoos/conditioners, though, I've started using a product called Wen because it has a cleansing conditioner so I don't have to use shampoo anymore. Now, most products that claim to be ';organic'; are not 100% organic products. For instance, Yes to Carrots is an ';organic'; line, but has 98% organic ingredients, plus other ingredients that aren't organic, or might even be synthetic.

http://www.organicconsumer.org - has a list of retailers that sell 100% organic products.
you should always buy a professional product. It needs to be ph of 5.5 as your hair is this ph. if you use shampoo that is a higher ph it will dry and damage your hair also will strip out any chemical service you might of had done such as color. Your best bet is to go to a salon and let them recommend a shampoo for your hair. I would say chi or pravanna products are very good and chi also has a organic line.
Go to your local health food store. I'd highly recommend Aubrey or Giovanni products. If you want to go hard core and spend a lot more money than John Masters and Suki are amazing. Whole Foods carries most of these brands. Have fun experimenting with all the new options! Try a new bath soap too. SOooo different from what you'd buy at the grocery store. The ingredients will shock you in comparison.
Herbal shampoo and conditioner is organic and is chemical free...
organix it is a brand at target without sulfates or parabens and it has coconut oil vitamin e and other really good things for soft healthy hair.
    Chemical free shampoo?

Sorry there is no such thing on the planet! Nor will there ever will be!

Don't fall for the hype! even just plain old air is a chemical!

    Good smelling shampoo and conditioner?

ok so i always leave in some conditioner but it never makes my hair smell good for the day..! I have oily blonde hair and want my hair nicely moist and soft and smelling great and after a day my hair not be oily. Also, if it can be cheap that would be great. Thanks..!Good smelling shampoo and conditioner?
The shampoo/conditioner smell will usually be gone by the time the hair is dry. The only shampoo scent that stays is pantene, but even then the smell is barely noticeable. Most girls make their hair smell pretty by spraying their body spray onto their hairbrush and brushing their hair after it is completely dry. It makes your hair smell wonderful and the scent stays, but the alcohol in your body spray can dry your hair out. I think it's worth it, though. Best of luck!Good smelling shampoo and conditioner?
Herbal Essence - leaving in conditioner makes your hair more oily. I would reccomend not doing that, just get some leave in products that smell nice (like hair spray)

Aussie also makes your hair smell good. I use Herbal Essence and then i use the Aussie Hairspray to make it smell good.
    Biolage

    or DesignLine.

Your brans like panteene and herbal essantes and ect arent actually helping your hair, its taking all of its vital nutrients from it and replacing it with fake shine that is breaking down your cuticle.
Lol, yeah. Herbal Essences. My ';Long term relationship'; conditioner spells like perfume. :D And the designs are so cute, and pretty.

    European also smells pretty good.

Good Luck!!!!!!Garnier Fructis ( Long and Strong ) Shampoo and Conditioner ....... What do you think about it? and Why?
I have hair down to my butt and I used to use this shampoo and conditioner. It smelled great but it did nothing for detangling. it took me like 25 minutes to brush through my hair after each use. But if that's not a problem for you then i'd recommend it.Garnier Fructis ( Long and Strong ) Shampoo and Conditioner ....... What do you think about it? and Why?
its good coz the hair feels different after 3-4 washes.

    it smells good

    its made from natural extract
It will tear up your hair. Too much fragrance and it dehydrates your hair. Smells good though

    Herbal essenses shampoo and conditioner?

all different types just to your liking. The types include, body envy, dangerously straight, breaks over, no flakin way, none of your frizzeness, drama clean, hello hydration, totally twisted, color me happy, shimmery nights and degunkify. All of these work amazingly hope i helpedHerbal essenses shampoo and conditioner?
herbal essences is just like the other store brands. it works ok a few days and then it doesnt do anything for u. get some salon shampoo and conditioner. they are 100 times better for your hair
herbal essenses is great i have a sensitive scalp and i love it it is the only thing i use
it might smelly yummy and stop it from greasing after one wash but it doesn't really do much. aussie shampoo is really good and vo5
i love herbal essences. it's great and you can get different types for different hair types like straight, curly, more body in your hair, and hydrating. If you have a sensitive head, i would reccommend ';hello hydration';. i loved it.
well i'm not a fan of it because that company tests on animals, so does pantene and infusium 23

    maybe try a better brand
NO! it just makes your hair smell good.

Insfusium 23 or Pantene or head and shoulders scalp care

but pantene makes your hair fall out
i have not use it but i do kinda of belive it wax like doest it seem like it?? idk i dont like it maybe cause it's cheap i dont like pantene eithr well pantene is bad for the hair anyway i use tresemme moisture rich and i love it and im going to start using redken shampoo and conditioner so i dont think you should use herbal essenses
No. Smells great but it is not good for your hair in the long run, same with pantene, it actually hurts your hair the longer you use it. There is a chemical that drys out your hair and will cause more split ends. i recommend Biolage or matrix they are professional products and are for all different types of hair.

Anyone tried this please?Pantene brunette shampoo and conditioner?
No, not good at all. It really dried my hair out.

John Frieda Briliant Brunette was even worse, my hair was soooo dry.

Sunsilk brunette shampoo and conditioner is a lot better (and cheaper too). Try it with their leave-in conditioner, it makes hair lovely and smooth after just a few days and smells nice too.

2 for 拢3 at tescos :)Pantene brunette shampoo and conditioner?
I tried it and it really didn't do anything for my hair
pantene is pretty much the worst shampoo you can buy. It strips your hair of all its natural oils--a study done by a university (cant remember which--it was on 20/20) found that you can clean your floors with pantene--its is THAT harsh and abrasive. that being said, i have used brilliant brunette by john frieda--doesn't do much but it smells WONDERFUL! :)
HI THERE I WOULD NOT USE PANTENNE AS IT STRIPS THE HAIR OF ITS COLOR. I RECOMMEND THAT YOU USE A SALON RECOMMENDED ONE.
NEVER use anything from WalMart, especially Pantene. All of the products you purchase from walmart have a wax base in them which doesn't help your color any.

You can find prof. products for the same price if you just look around.

At least go to sally beauty supply, if not anything else. Please!

Dont bother, its not as good as advertised
    nothing great about it.
my friend natalie has tried all the different shampoos for brunette hair and she says the john frieda range is by for the best.
yes ive tried it it doesnt really do my for your color (or atleast i dont think so) but i think the conditioner is really good
My wife says it is pretty poor.

A good cheap shampoo %26amp; conditioner is Aussie Mega.

Aveda is the best. Paul Mitchell is good too.
Joico K-Pak is the best thing I've found for dry hair. Tigi makes an Oatmeal and honey that is also good. If your hair is colored, Redken for color-treated hair is also a great product.
I love the organic shampoo and conditioners that you get in health shops.
Rejoice complete, when you use the conditioner, put some in your hands and comb ur hair like a comb. Lolz. It really smells good. And makes it soft and silky.

I have short hair can I use Garnier Fructis Long and Strong Shampoo and Conditioner? Why? Why Not?

Yes you can use Garnier Fructis Long and Strong Shampoo and Conditioner but if you wanna know if it will make your hair grow fast its not. No shampoo or conditioner can do that. No matter what it says on the bottle.I have short hair can I use Garnier Fructis Long and Strong Shampoo and Conditioner? Why? Why Not?
yes you can. it helps make your hair long and strong. i don't see why you can't!I have short hair can I use Garnier Fructis Long and Strong Shampoo and Conditioner? Why? Why Not?
yea of course u can!!! long %26amp; strong only means its gonna make ur hair grow healthier. has nothing 2 do with short or long hair.
Why wouldnt u? Hair is hair whether it be long or short...
Sure, I don't see why not?
Long and Strong shampoo %26amp; conditioner is meant to help your hair grown longer by sealing the ends. It won't make your hair grow quicker, it'll simply leave behind a residue of sorts on your hair after you wash it to coat it against heat damage, etc. You can definitely use it.
you can use it.it meant that your hair can grow long and strong
Plain and simple..........yes, you sure can! Don't expect it to make your hair grow longer though because it won't do that, like the person above me said.

  • Dyed Hair Shampoo and Conditioner?

I got my hhair cut shorter for swim competition and had it dyed from blonde to auburn red. What is good shampoo and condtioner that won't strip the color????Dyed Hair Shampoo and Conditioner?
biolage color treatment shampoo/conditioner. since you dyed your hair red chances are the colors going to fade regardless of whether you use a color treatment shampoo or not. even if you get it professionally done red will still fade. i use to have red hair and i had to dye it EVERY WEEK in order to maintain the vibrant tones of it. so be prepared for lots of maintenance! hope this helps!Dyed Hair Shampoo and Conditioner?

HONN IT WORKS GREATT THATS WHAT I USEE:]
John Frieda's Radiant Red shampoo and conditioner

are the best from my experience, and comes highly recomended from the salon i go to. normally they have to push their own products but they all said John Frieda was really good for color protection, especially for red.

    Good luck!
Since your hair is probably very stressed and broken from the coloring and swimming (chlorine) - it's crucial that you get a good shampoo and conditioner that is easy on your hair, won't strip the color, and most of all... that is MOISTURIZING! Try using John Frieda's Radiant RedHead or Brilliant Brunette Shampoo and Conditioner. It smoothes out your hair while cleansing and moisturizing it! Also, once a week I recommend using a deep-moisturizing conditioner that will be left on for 5 minutes like Aussie's 5-Minute Miracle! This will repair damage and supply your hair with some much-needed moisture. Then after you get out of the shower make sure to comb in some leave-in conditioner to protect your hair. Best of luck!

I've heard of some people using conditioner without shampoo.?

Is this healthier for the hair than using shampoo. I heard conditioner can clean the hair without stripping it of its natural oils. What do you think?I've heard of some people using conditioner without shampoo.?
It depends on your hair type.

You should always wash your hair when it feels greasy. If you have naturally greasy hair then you may need to wash it everyday but don't skip conditioner-just apply it to the ends. If you have dry hair then you should still be shampooing when it feels it needs it. If this is 3 times a week, but you have curly hair and need to style it daily, then just use conditioner on the days when it doesn't need shampooing. If you use a gentle shampoo it isn't as bad on your hair to wash it everyday, Hope I've helped. xI've heard of some people using conditioner without shampoo.?
it's recommended that we only wash our hair 2-3 times per week, because it does strip the natural oils out. i personally don't do this bc i'm afraid my hair will get greasy, but my friend always only uses conditioner, (she hates washing her hair).

i know that it's recommended and a fact, but i just can't do it
I used to do this... Wash with Shampoo and Conditioner every other day and just conditoner on the other days. It does work, but I just thought my hair was too oily so I stopped doing it.
    yeah its bull.

to get the hair clean u need to b able to open the cuticle...thts what shampoo is designed to do where as conditioner is designed to smooth the cuticle.
i shampoo twice a week and condition three times a week.
well you shouldn't shampoo your hair more then 3-4 times a week, but over-conditioning it can make it kind of gross.
I wash every other day %26amp; condition every day
YOU HAVE TO USE SHAMPOO THEN CONDITIONER JUST USING CONDITIONER DOESN'T WORK ASK YOU HAIRDRESSER
Wash 3 times a week and condition every day... Keeps your hair pretty , soft and shiney = )
no u shud use both of them.

first shampoo to clean ur hair..

%26amp;%26amp; then conditioner to make it silky, untangly and shiny!

What is a good shampoo, conditoner, leave in conditioner, heat spray or serum to use before straightening?

Shampoo/Conditioner - Use something that says it ';straightens hair'; or ';smooths hair'; - don't scrunch hair or pile it on your head while washing. Leave conditioner on for about 3 minutes. (I suggest V05, White Rain, or Herbal Essences, but Therma-silk is fantastic for heated straighteners.)

You won't need a leave-in if you follow the above directions.

Then, part and brush out hair, but don't style - straighten it using the lowest heat you can with results...afterwards,use V05's Shine Spray (it's new, in a red bottle, smells AMAZING) just follow the instructions on it. Then style :)

You hair will look amazing. What is a good shampoo, conditoner, leave in conditioner, heat spray or serum to use before straightening?
Smoothing shampoo/conditioners are good. I like Matrix Sleek Look. They sell a generic version of it at Sally's. As for a leave in, I like FrizzEase Wind Down Cream. A great serum is Biosilk Serum. I have very very curly hair and this stuff gets my hair stick straight and super silky. I never thought I would be able to get my hair to be straight, and then I found that stuff. I would swear by it lol. What is a good shampoo, conditoner, leave in conditioner, heat spray or serum to use before straightening?
alrighty... i totally have to agree!! the others read mah mind :)

so yeah. matrix is awesome... love it. i also use enjoy's straightening gel (no joke, that's what it's called... i mean how creative, right?).

and, well i'm thirteen, and it seems as though EVERYONE straightens their hair, but i use the straightening gel all the time, even when i'm not going to straighten it. it leaves my hair super smooth, and my hair sometimes is a frizzy mess!!

    hope i helped :)
Before straightening you use nothing, the hair need to be clean in order to absorb the chemical treatment.
I use Matrix sleek look smoothing system and it's DA BOMB. Seriously, it keeps my hair shiny and smooth and rids of all possible frizz.

Are all in one shampoo and conditioners bad for your hair?

It is shampoo and conditioner all in one bottle (mixed together).

Is ok for the hair? My hairdresser that i go to says that conditioner should never touch your scalp. im not asking her because she is away and i want to know now because i want to change my shampoo. Are all in one shampoo and conditioners bad for your hair?
Worse, they don't work well doing either job. They don't clean hair and scalp and they don't condition hair. You really gotta use separate products to clean and condition.

But, hey, have you tried the alternatives like lemon juice and egg and

oatmeal? Cold green tea is another one that gives shine.

The Body Shops are a great source, even for research. Just note the ingredients.

If you're looking for a new brand, then there's a whole new world out there.

    it's fine look at me!!
It's probably ok for children, and perhaps men. Maybe even if you have short hair. My long hair needs seperate shampoo and conditioner.
If you have wavy or curly hair it is best to get separate things. I use only conditioner all over my hair and head and its very healthy. It's not dandruffy or oily either. Conditioner feels really good when you massage your scalp with it. (:

The Dove in the curvy bottle. Use the kind for color treated hair it has more moisture in it than the regular and it smells good too.
Herbal hair care from Sauve Shampoos is a good bet..
The Burt's Bees line of products is natural and easy to find in most drug and grocery stores. I love the avocado conditioner the best.
I think in order to get good advice on hair, you should consult a hair specialist. Even if you don't know any one just go find a number to a salon in your area and call them up then ask them that question. People on here might not giv you the best answer then you going to be askin ghow to grow your hair back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i use aussie products...they are amazingly awesome...What is he best shampoo and conditioner for long normal hair??
Herbal Escences is one of the best shampoos out there.

Have you thought maybe the way you're styling your hair is making it fall out?

    Or your hair brush.

Besides that, it's completely normal to lose some hairs when you wash your hair.

Hope this helps! What is he best shampoo and conditioner for long normal hair??
    infusium 23!
    Garnier Frutis
Mane n Tail is AMAZING. It was origionally created for horses, but it worked soooo well with humans, that they now sell it for that purpose as well. It will make your hair feel like silk.
I love Graham Webb or Tigi products. I wouldn't use anything from the grocery store.
i have long hair and every year or two I go through a phase where I loose alot of hair,,,I am currently using Pantene Classic Shampoo and Pantene Classic Conditioner..I find it works well on long normal hair..it leaves it clean and soft..it take a few days for it to work..the first few times i used it I did not like it but after a few washings I began to love it..it is gentle enough to use daily..I occasoinally buy some small shampoos and conditioners at a salon and use them occasionally to remind me that Pantene Classic is still the best for my hair..
Dove and suave works for me

What's the best Shampoo and Conditioner?

Just wondering?...What's the best Shampoo and Conditioner?
i love herbal essences... and you can get the one that will help you achieve your goal to get the kind of hair you want

L'oreal Vive Pro is very good. It makes your hair very shiny.
I use garnier fructis and am in love with it! It smells awesome and helps control frizz. I use the sleek and shine system. AMAZING!
There are lots of them. Pantene,John Freida for Brunettes, Matrix and Aveda. Those all work well but they can be pricey.
shampoo is vo1 strawberry and conditioner is coconut
Nick Chavez volumizing shampoo and conditioner
big sexy hair or crew citrus mint just stay away from pantene its full of wax an other things that can strip your hair of good oils it might make your hair look healthy but actually damages it in the long run
I use suave clarifying as shampoo to get rid of all the grease and product and i use sunsilk conditioner (antipoof). Because my hair can get frizzy.
i love nexxus therapee moisturizing shampoo and nexxus humectress shampoo it works great
You need to match it to your hair type...for instance oily, dry, damaged, colored, permed, ect ect ect. The Vive or Pantene or even Equate products are all excellent at a decent price, otherwise go to a salon and ask for hair care products.
pantene (cant spell) i use it it works awsomely
it depends on how much money you are willing to spend. if you are willing to spend a lot then something like sleek look or biolage. something a little cheaper would be pantene. even cheaper herbal essence. and i like the aussie conditioner called ';knot forgotten'; it makes your hair smooth.
i absoulty love the herbal essences the new kind. i like the kind in the orange bottles and the kind in the blue bottles~!*
    pantene ice
Sunsilk. That line is amazing. It makes your hair uber soft and shiny. And it doesnt cause dandruff or oil.
it depends on what kind of hair you have thin, thick , natrally greasy, dry,if you have dandruff....ect
Sleek Look because it makes your hair really smooth.Trust me!! It's the best.Go to a salon and ask for Sleek Look products. It really works!!!
Depends on your hair type %26amp; what you're looking for.

I would say Garnier Fructis though because I tried many different brands (for my hair type) and none really worked (well, Pantene did, but it leaves a lot of build up!) except for Garnier, so I would say them.

I only use Sunsilk's 24/7 creme, but I love it, so I would suggest their line/threesomes would work well too.

And the good thing is, you can find them at Walmart, Target, CVS, Walgreens, ect., for not a lot!

Good luck %26amp; hope I helped!
i only use paul mitchell products, but i use to use dove and dove was nice.

    Best shampoo and conditioner?

The ends of my hair look dry and I get a hair cut like once a month, is there a really good shampoo or conditioner out there??Best shampoo and conditioner?
I guess it's what style you like, but I love biolage by Matrix. It smells great and they have shampoos for all hair types. It's good stuff!Best shampoo and conditioner?
Without actually seeing and touching your hair, it's hard to suggest one product in particular. There are alot of things that can affect the condition of it...

...Do you color, perm, or highlight it?

...Do you blow dry it daily?

...Do you straighten with a flat iron or hot roll it?

...Are you on any kinds of meds?

    ...Do you swim?

...What products have you been using?

All of these things take a toll on your hair. Diet can have some affect as well.

Next time you get your hair cut, ask the stylist to recommend some products for you. They will most likely suggest professional products and they are really the best idea if you are really concerned about the condition and health of your hair. They are a little pricey, but you tend to use less product, so the price really evens out in the end. If price is really a factor, just tell them, and most likely they will point you towards something from the grocery store.

One of my favorite brands is Paul Mitchell. The whole line is really affordable, as far as pro products goes, I liked almost every thing that they make.
pantene is great but i find it tends to create build up of product if you don't rinse thoroughly and head and shoulders is good too. There's also a sunsilk one for oily roots and dry ends and its even better

the conditioner, i have long hair
Always the conditioner! I have 2 sisters and we all share the same bottle of shampoo and conditioner and its always the conditoner that goes! We work on a crazy 2 bottles of conditioner per 1 bottle of shampoo. I think its coz it feels really nice to drench your hair in conditioner and then rise it off and relish in the softness of your hair! Also its prob coz it doesnt lather. Shampoo sort of 'grows' and lathers up when you put it on your hair but conditioner you have to like manually spread it so you feel like you need to use more to cover all your hair.
neither b/c I wash my hair with a bar of soap.

Okay, so I JUST got a little streak in my hair, I'm not sure if I'm able to even take a shower on the same day as i got my hair done but is it possible? Will it ruin my hair and wash out the dye? Can someone PLEASE help because I don't want to ruin my hair! Thanks so much for caring, and answering! :D

Oh and its a PERMANENT dye! THANKS! :)Can you add shampoo for colored hair to normal shampoo? (Same for conditioner!)?
you're supposed to wait at least a day or 2 after you dye your hair . it won't wash out the dye , but it might take a little of the pigment out because your hair needs to have time to completely absorb the dye.

i recommend to NOT wash your hair the same day .Can you add shampoo for colored hair to normal shampoo? (Same for conditioner!)?
Don't worry too much about it. Just don't use a whole lot of shampoo, don't apply your shampoo directly to your hair while it's still dry-ish, make sure that it's wet first, and dilute the shampoo with a little water in your hands first.

You can get Paul Mitchell at many salons. We have been using it for a couple of years. It is pricey but it works great!

(tip: I bought 1/2 gallon bottles of each on ebay for the same price that I would spend at a salon for the smaller bottles, and it is exactly what you would get at a salon)Tea tree oil shampoo and tea tree oil conditioner?
Follow up: I went and bought the Paul Mitchell shampoo at Trade Secret and it is probably the best tea tree oil shampoo I've used. Report Abuse

I use American Crew which can be purchased online. I used to buy it cheaper at the grocery store but now NO ONE sells it. And I live in Minneapolis where there just might be a need in the middle of January!
you can go to a health food store. try jason brand. i use their tea tree shampoo and i looove it. they sell it in my local grocery store.... hope this helps.

    Loreal Kids.
    l'oreal kids

i used to love them when i was little

they don't hurt if they go in your eyes

    and they're good at untangling

it's the container with the eye on it =]
johnson %26amp; johnson baby shampoo + conditioner work best! I still use it and it soft my hair! smooth as the baby's ***!
loreal kids!!! i loved that stuff when i was younger, I'm pretty sure they have conditioner too. Its more gentle so it wont be harmful on your children's hair :) and no tears if it gets in your eyes. I remember it always smelt yummy too :)
    Loreal kids
It's necessary for all people, and never harmful.

I'd say something like Dove would be best for children. There are salon brands targeted at kids of course, but I think you'd have difficulty finding them. If you don't want to use creme conditioners, use at least a detangler/conditioning spray.
Use TRESemme, it's the best shampoo and conditioner that's used by proffessionals, even suggested by proffessionals. It says so on the bottle, it's so cool. It has no age limit and it works for any type of hair, no side effects. And it's only $3.00 a bottle, which is pretty big, it's one of those really big ones, those big, big round ones. And it's a good deal, only a little dot gives up a lot of foam. Try it, but make sure you use the shampoo and conditioner, conditioner after shampoo, it works the best that way. You'll like it, I garuntee you!

Well to answer your question, the shampoo/conditioner I found that work well so far is a newer brand called Yes to Carrots. It is a bit on the expensive side though so I am looking for new ones. Look at my recent questions asked and you will find some tips there.

Make sure you don't use shampoo every day, don't use a towel to dry your hair (causes frizz) and detangle your hair when wet (with comb because brush causes damage). Don't brush your hair when it is dry.

Also, having the right hair cut is very important. I always get some layers in my hair because it defines the curls much better than all the same length.

Look for more tips on yahoo or google search.

I used to use Nicky Clarke, but I can't find that in any shops anymore. It was brilliant tho. Now days I'm using John Frieda's Frizz ease stuff. Still quite good.
    i use panteene!

it makes it so un-frizzy and it smells amazing too! :)
